Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness. Tell yourself you tasted as many as you could.

By the truth we are undone. Life is a dream. ‘Tis the waking that kills us. He who robs us of our dreams robs us of our life.

Virginia Woolf, Orlando (via bookmania)

My pen knows what to do. I close my eyes and I see this girl who glows. A girl who radiates. When she smiles, she beams. She warms my heart. I open my eyes with a feeling of floating past all the garbage around me. I will emerge unscathed because I will not endeavor to hide myself from whatever is coming. Bring on the worst. I welcome it with open arms.

Thought

The first level of creation is thought. Every positive or negative thought in your mind has the potential to create externally. Through observation we see that training the mind to control thoughts is an extremely difficult and lengthy task, for some it takes a lifetime of dedication.

When a thought comes into your head, flashes across your mind, it can be observed or ignored, you can be conscious of it or unconscious.

If you are unconscious of the thought it might dissolve in to the background or you might take it on as opinion, give it weight, thus creation.

If you are conscious of a thought however, that thought is neutral. See that it is of your mind, not truly of yourself. Your mind is creating the thought, this is what is meant by creation. By consciously observing you may decide that the thought doesn’t suit you. It may be aggressive or even violent. Perhaps it simply isn’t of your beliefs and has no means to serve you. Therefore simply observing this thought as a spontaneous creation of your mind, which is in itself an entity that is not you, will prevent the thought from creating negativity or a belief you do not wish to hold.

Be conscious of your thought. Beware hatred, negativity and envy and all negative mind states because they are simply the mind speaking to you, they are not you and you can let them dissolve.

Breed love and compassion. When you give weight to positive thoughts and follow them with positive action you bring love in to the world for the benefit of yourself and others.

Angels

There are angels that live among us, though few and far between. People that live with an open heart, always giving.

They carry others burdens and take on affliction. They see others suffering as their own, even going as far as to take on another persons pain physically, this I’ve witnessed. It may not be in the literal sense of taking on a physical burden but such people act selflessly for the benefit of another at the detriment of themselves. In order to aid the other they forget their own welfare and suffer exhaustion and illness.

I believe that angels can sense auras. Even if they haven’t mastered the ability to see them they can feel people’s motives and intentions, and sense the purity of their actions.

Think hard if there is an angel in your life. When you meet a person like this you will have a deep sense of knowing and feel a surge of affection, you’ll be drawn to them. When you get this feeling don’t ignore it, act on the instinct and do something for them. Act entirely for their benefit. Insure your intentions are true, don’t do this for your own ‘karma’, don’t tell anybody you’re helping the person. You will find something you can do for them.

Angels need all the help they can get.
